Who We Are Miro Capital Partners LLC is a private
venture investment firm with offices in Center City Philadelphia.
Our Industry Focus Our firm focuses on investment opportunities
in three vertical sectors: technology and telecommunications,
healthcare and
medical device, and financial and business services.
Our Transaction Focus Miro targets transactions in two
categories.
First,
we seek to acquire mature “orphan assets,” which
are typically profitable, break-even or otherwise valuable
but, nevertheless, underperforming and peripheral to their
corporate
parent. The spin-off
of such assets allows their owners to devote more focused
attention
and
resources to core business, while affording the spin-out
company the opportunity to unlock previously unrealized value
through the process of rationalization, recapitalization,
reposition and relaunch.
Second, we invest in emerging growth companies in
need of direction and support in order to refine and
focus their value
proposition, assemble the right management team, devise
a launch strategy and formulate and execute a coherent
and
disciplined business plan.
Our Approach
In each investment, we focus intently
on the development and execution of capital formation strategies
which are both consistent with corporate and business objectives
as well as protective of the economic and control interests
of founders and existing investors.
Our Experience Our firm’s founders have deep experience
as corporate finance and transactional attorneys and business
advisors as well as principal investors who have successfully
launched
and
acquired technology and financial services businesses.
